Sound Therapy

What is sound therapy?

Sound Therapy uses sound, music and specialist instruments played in therapeutic ways, combined with deep self-reflection techniques to improve health and wellbeing. The tonal instruments used are Himalayan and crystal singing bowls, gongs, monochord, tuning forks, crystal pyramids and drum.

Many benefits of sound healing are supported by scientific research.

Information gathered over the last 25 years has informed us that certain instruments affect us in different ways and can help to heal stress and promote relaxation.

The soothing sounds help to re-tune your brain to cope with stress better by replenishing brain energy with high-frequency sound. Many people use sound therapy to get relief from chronic headaches and migraines. It can also address the underlying cause of many headaches like stress and high blood pressure.

At NHH, our sound therapy sessions are 1 to 1 with our sound therapist, however we can offer group sessions on request.
