What is a personal trainer? 

A personal trainer is an individual who creates and delivers safe and effective exercise programs for healthy individuals and groups, or those with medical clearance to exercise. They motivate clients by collaborating to set goals, providing meaningful feedback, and by being a reliable source for accountability as well as being able to give advice on nutrition. 

 

If you have always wanted to start going to the gym, learn new exercises, improve fitness and improve your health, now is the tie to start doing so!

 

We have 2 excellent personal trainers associated with NHH, one of which is based in a very nice affiliate gym, Zone Health Ltd, which is off site from our practice but just a short 5 minute drive away. We also have our on site gym too, Lion’s Elite Fitness. Both gyms are family run and offer different training styles to suit everybody.  Both Zone Health Ltd and Lion’s Elite Fitness provide 1 to 1 personal training, group personal training, fitness classes, exercise plans and programmes, nutritional advice, tailored event training sessions (such as marathon training), and even remote personal training via zoom / skype.
